Hi, I'm Dong Nguyen and a PhD researcher at the University of Twente. I'm interested in Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval and Machine Learning to support research in the social sciences and the humanities. This involves making data more accessible as well as using computational methods for answering questions from the social sciences and humanities. I especially enjoy working with social media data.

I received a master's degree in Language Technologies after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente. In fall 2011 I was a software engineer intern at Facebook.
